Pueblo Torviscas is a development of holiday apartments nestled around 2 swimming pools and located just 50 metres from the sea. Upon arrival we struggled to find the hotel as the main entrance was inside a builders compound wrapped in green mesh and only a little gate was available for access, 9am-4pm the builders started using heavy machinery with no exhaust due to the main pool being refurbished, couldn’t use sun loungers on balcony, watch TV, cook and eat meals in peace, take a nap in the day or leave doors or windows open as it was so loud and unbearable, used the pool twice as it was too crowded and getting a lounger was impossible, the compound was regularly left open and often found ourselves inside the compound when leaving the complex as there were no diversion signs, complained 3 times at reception but these fell on deaf ears and was advised to speak to “sunset harbour”, finally spoke to someone on the last day who agreed that the machinery was loud but just shrugged it off, no warning or notice was given about the building work when booking or even leading up to our holiday from “on the beach”.The hotel is well situated and good value for money, this review could have been so different.
